This policy explains how Unique Goods Trading Nam CC(“Unique Goods”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use uniquegoods.app and our mobile apps. By using our services, you agree to this policy.

- Order details — your name, phone number, email, and delivery address when you place an order (guest checkout included).
- Account details — if you create an account, your email and password (passwords are stored securely by our authentication provider, never by us in plain text).
- Details of items you offer us — if you offer an item for us to buy, the item information you submit and identity documents for verification.
- Payment details — processed by our payment provider; we do not store your card or banking numbers.
- Technical data — essential cookies and an anonymous browser identifier used to run the cart, keep you signed in, and count first-party site visits. We do not store an IP address in the visit counter.
- To process, deliver, and invoice your orders.
- To provide customer support and order updates.
- To assess and process items you offer to sell to us, and to verify identity when purchasing second-hand goods.
- To operate, secure, and improve our store.
- To meet legal and tax obligations in Namibia.
Card payments are handled by our third-party payment processor (DPO Pay). Your card details are entered on their secure systems and are never stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation and a payment reference.
If you offer an item for us to buy, we collect identity documents to verify you, as is standard when purchasing second-hand goods. These are stored privately with restricted access and used only for verification and fraud prevention. We do not publish them.
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- Couriers (e.g. NamPost and partners) — to deliver your order.
- Payment processor — to take payment securely.
- Hosting & database — our infrastructure providers store data on our behalf under their security terms.
- Email provider — to send order confirmations and invoices.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
We use essential cookies and local storage to remember your cart, keep you signed in, and assign an anonymous identifier for aggregate visitor totals. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
We protect your data with access controls, row-level security, and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and limit access to those who need it.
We keep order and tax records as required by Namibian law, and other information only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask us to delete data we are not legally required to keep.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Email support@uniquegoods.app and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Our services are intended for users aged 18 and over and are not directed at children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
